When you prepare your file for Scorm output you set Reporting in the Quiz Preferences and select your Scorm version 1.2 or 2004. Then when you are ready to Publish you will see in the Publish To My Computer dialogue box that you can define the “Location” of where the file will be published. You will also note that the Zip Files is checked. So the output of the publishing process is a ZIP file or package which will be found in the location you define. Go to the ZIP file and right click in windows and open with Windows explorer. You will see the structure of the ZIP package that is loaded to the lms. During the publishing process Captivate adds all the files necessary for the functioning of the Scorm package in the Zip file..

When you save the file from Captivate, SCORM will be tied to the file. You select where to save the file on your computer.
