Social Networking: As Easy as Pie

While we all know it is imperative today to network in order to keep up with the changing trends and shifting paradigms, to a new comer into the arena of social networking and the virtual world, the reality can hit hard.

The sheer number of options can be overwhelming. Then, there are subtle and not-so subtle differences between these options--some of the differences are inherent in the features of the networking tool and some have been superimposed by the users over a period of time. The best example is of course the way Twitter is used today...

For such people, how would collaborative learning or informal learning work in this age of technology? They may have and I am sure do have a tremendous amoung of knowledge and experience to share but are simply unable to do so because of the channels of communication in use today...How can we facilitate this sharing and ease them into the world of technology?

The feeling of a new comer as I see it...for a lighter touch! :)
