Enormous amount of add-ons and plug-ins. Resources – guides, etc.

Lingo – They call it translation management software. Mimic – Create video demos and tutorials. Personally, I think it is vastly superior to RoboHelp. Oh, HTML5 output too. I call it “cool” Contributor – SMEs (Subject matter experts) can review, edit content. Capture – Screen capture and recorder.

On the app side, the product has a nice tutorial for that, actually it has a nice one for the course creation too. 20 Lectora Inspire. Honestly, I wish they would do more with their “online” version, in comparison but they have not.

I have always liked their Microsoft Office courses which appear as the software itself with tutorial capabilities of “show me, assist me, let me do it” angle. Course rating: B+. Skillsoft – The behemoth of the courses/content space. Frankly they are massive. That said, they have plenty of dullard courses.

I know people who have company laptops and thus cannot access this or that at home, including the installation of browser software, yet all these folks have a mobile device, in which they access sites. . And I equally agree that many authoring tool vendors do not provide tutorials on how to build a course (not just how to use their software).
