This is definitely a worrying statistic, and my initial reaction is these organisations need to be speaking to Zephyr Learning to help turn this statistic around! The other interesting statistic was only 14% of organisations are using smartphone/portable devices for elearning. Mobile technology has a lot to do with this.

It is important to note that this statistic does not include browser access – therefore time on the smartphone per day is much higher! The most interesting statistic was the browser usage. Another study (from Flurry) highlights that we spend over 120 minutes per day on our smartphone apps, with: 43% of this time on Games.

Managers – good or bad?

On a review site I noticed a statistic that 30% of managers have psychopathic traits. Interestingly, I read a book some time ago called Snakes in Suits by Dr Robert Hare, which highlights the dangers on on promoting the wrong managers within an organisation.
