Placeholder Images: Do They Help or Hurt in an eLearning Storyboard?

The final course was going to use a different set of stock photos. Unlike a temporary stock image, it won’t misrepresent age, gender, race, facial expression, etc. Not so long ago, in a nearby place, someone spent a lot of time leaving notes about the photos in an eLearning storyboard. It turned out that they were just placeholders.

It’s better to have your own assets saved somewhere for consistent reuse than having everyone run off to keep buying stock photos or copy-pasting from Google image search every time they make a presentation or course. Start keeping assets (such as videos, graphics, etc.) That way making new courses, job aids, etc.
