blog_LUC16RECAP

We’re back from the 2016 Lectora® User Conference—and we brought a lot of bright ideas with us. Lectora developers are creating some incredible training that they shared in fantastic breakout sessions. I know that I was impressed with the course examples presented at LUC 2016—it was great to meet more Lectora users and hear their enthusiasm!Laura Overton kicked off the conference with an inspirational keynote presentation on The Bright Future of Learning and how to be ready for it. Laura is the founder and CEO of Towards Maturity. In her keynote, she shared practical advice on supporting changes in modern learning and the future of learning.

Ready for LUC 2016! (I’m on the right, next to our event manager, Stephanie Ivec.)

Both days of the LUC 2016 were filled with breakout sessions by Lectora users, a Q&A with the Trivantis® pros called Ask the Experts, One-on-One sessions, and more. Between sessions, attendees could stop by the exhibitor booths (BranchTrack, RELATE, and eLearning Brothers) and go to the Idea Center to write their bright ideas with chalkboard markers.

During the Networking Reception at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, attendees got a chance to play Cards Against eLearning—a fun, eLearning-themed card game created by the Trivantis Team and sure to make any training industry professional laugh. And a few lucky winners got to keep a deck for themselves!

Thanks to our exhibitors, BranchTrack, RELATE, and the eLearning Brothers. All of them also presented great breakout sessions, and Rick Zanotti recorded Lectora Live episodes with the Trivantis Team and Lectora Users right from the LUC. Trivantis made some exciting announcements at LUC 2016, including this one: a limited version of BranchTrack will be included in Lectora Inspire later in 2016!
