A colleague at an organization I was working for, Access Australia CMC, had come up with the idea of competition for school kids to create websites about a topic. This was to set up an event, and saw vibrant discussions. With another colleague, we brainstormed a topic for the first running of the event.

A personal look at crowd sourcing

So I went out to four of the groups I have or was going to talk for, and asked them which they would prefer for their brochures or websites. Now I had two more to choose from: the more natural one or the one with the muted background. How to answer this? Of the 3 that responded, they all preferred the natural background (my preference).

As you might expect, they’re oriented towards Windows, with no information for a Mac user provided, but their website shows how to load music on them. They’re very minimalist: two ear pieces and a cable that joins them that goes behind your head.

Economic Impact

I’ve checked out some non-fiction books from the library that I’m reading to expand my abilities, I revamped my website (and continuing to improve it), writing a new article, and I’ve started a new blog series on ID. I very much believe in walking the walk, so I’m investing in my own capability.
