I generally agree with what Donald has to say, but on this post, I think he's right about collaboration vs. independent work, but draws a bad conclusion: Donald Clark Plan B: Dumbness of Crowds. activities are more independent actions of individuals than true collaborative work (team work) on a work product.

Contrast this with a A Fourth Grader Wikipedia Update. Still, the point here is that many of us were taught how scarce and precious information was. My kids face the problem of having too much information and having to learn how to filter. And, it's not just access to information that's changed. I'm good at filtering information.
