Their is certainly value in many people creating all types of videos and you can find all types of good information on YouTube and other video sites but.you can also find some.not so good material and here is a parody of a contest involving YouTube. I rate the video as "fairly funny, LOL" (Contains some potentially offensive language.)

As does the free YouTube with extensive how-to videos. .” Put the learner in charge of the entire process. A good example of this is Lynda.com which has small (less than five minute) segments of information to teach people how to perform a variety of tasks. Smaller learning chunks are being put into place in many organizations.

Truly valuable content will be found as short videos on YouTube, entries on blogs, or a favorite page on a wiki, none will be housed in a Learning Management System. In fact, I predict a corporate version of YouTube will emerge just as the academic version, TeacherTube previously emerged. No corporate version of YouTube emerged.
