NexLearn (Simulation tool) – their uber robust sim version will cost you nearly 13K for one license, their base version (Simplicity) $999. Platte Canyon – Toolbook 11 (full version) $2,795 per license. What is an equal frightening event is when authoring tool vendors do not even list their pricing on their page.

I knew that its core audience would be instructional designers and e-learning developers. . From products that ranged from the latest versions of RCATs to new vendors in the space, including text to speech. . Back in 2000, the knock on rapid content authoring tools were they “pre-template” driven solutions.

Samsung Galaxy S is expected to be the first real challenger to the iPad, it runs on Android OS, offers Flash 10.1 Again, the iPad runs only with HTML5, not Flash 10.1. True, the other tablets and Samsung offer Flash 10.1, but they offer HTML5 too. Or the beta versions of the browsers yet to be launched.

Equally horrible, is that some companies are still using old versions of IE or an outdated computer system with Windows 2000 on it. Another small trend is providing advanced admin capabilities in the form of admins who have CSS, Flash,PHP or other languages. The use of geolocation – available in HTML5.
