Back in the early 2000′s I remember offering my end users avatars with our learning platform. Image editing – several vendors are offering this – I expect more to follow suit – but not huge numbers by the end of 2013. However the ability to do everything I just mentioned above is extremely limited.

Equally horrible, is that some companies are still using old versions of IE or an outdated computer system with Windows 2000 on it. If I have those skill sets, why would I want to be an administrator of a LMS, when I could work free-lance or in some other programming capacity? The small size vendors. E-Learning 24/7.

Authoring Tools (Rapid E-Learning). For those of us who can remember, back in early 2000, products like Authorware were essential to building courses.
