It is interesting to note, that many of the vendors are targeting the SMB space, especially the small size (less than 500 employees) market. The challenge though is that there are customers who have no desire and zero interest to use or have a TM in their system. These customers would rather have an all encompassing solution.

In 2002, a company created video courses that were AICC compliant and could be bookmarked. A LMS that came with a e-commerce, a chat room, discussion boards, front end look that did not appear to a be a LMS, library, bookstore (capability), art gallery (I used it for sponsorship purposes). The vendor? It was revoluntary.
