In the Consumer Market World. With Video Learning Platforms – video can be what the consumer market identifies as video (usually the case) and yes, equally screen recordings. As you are aware I am not a fan of AICC – useful in early 2000’s, but IMO not that useful today.

Curatr’s product is one of the new hybrid authoring systems to hit the market. That said, I am seeing these hybrid platforms on the rise – in the authoring tool market. Customized branding – another trend in the space and should be universal in the market. In 2010, the RCAT market continued its upswing and nothing indicates to me it will be changing anytime soon. The Big Dogs – which in this case, deals more with market share, for the most part continued to push forward, yet from an innovation standpoint, uh, solid, but not outstanding. At least SCORM support – Plenty still support AICC. 2004 (3rd edition) included. In only a select few authoring tools on the market. . It is Adobe’s LMS, and slick marketing utilizing the Captivate name in it. .
