12 eLearning Predictions for 2009

Last year I laid out in January my Ten Predictions for eLearning 2008. In my post, 2008 2009 - written in December 2008, I looked at how well I did in those predictions, and my results were pretty good, not perfect. There will also be growth in discussions and social networks for collaborative learning. 2008 was an interesting year that saw a myriad of new start-ups offering content through interesting new avenues. Lectora is great at packaging.

The second half of the prediction “self directed learning” got less attention during the year than I anticipated, but it was there and certainly was a big part of the discussion around social and informal learning.
