Before I start with any of my actual predictions, let me throw in an overall prediction that the year is going to start off slow for most people, but by the end of the year, we will all be thinking: “Wow, 2010 was a crazy year!” And probably will get some more ideas from the Big Question - Predictions and Plans for 2010.

Or 2010 for that matter. Learning Environment – Plays a massive role, and goes beyond assigning content to X group, versus Y group (which every system can do), and similar. I’m looking at new capabilities from learning journeys, to tying in additional variables such as job role, skills, even specific content choices.

Where in some systems it is extremely equal and in some cases better than a BI (Business Intelligence) tool? workers left their job.

Yes, skill gap analysis existed, from 1999 in fact, after all that was the main premise for an LMS, to identify skill gaps, but the metrics specifically around skill gaps tied to other variables in the system, in a data visualization standpoint that doesn’t look like a bar chart? Five by the way is a good number for the top number.
