LMS Products of the Year 2010. I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). That said, across the board for all Big Dog systems, their social learning functionality was weak. Saba does a good job as well. These standout to me.

What I constantly see in the industry is the pitch on one hand of a committment to a learning management system, and yet internally the vendor sees their system as a talent management system. Two examples: In 2010, a person at Saba was talking about their system to me. He said, you are right.
