Questions: What is the common identifier that allows the xAPI to connect the data provided by the ‘activity provider’ to a specific user in the LRS? Answer: xAPI allows for learners to be identified by email address, Open ID or an account on some system, such as an LMS. The Latest: What consumers are seeking; plus video and mobile data

Besides the usual of mobile and video (more on that in a sec), the biggest requests these days are for xAPI, custom domain control and LRS. I’m a total believer and supporter of the first two, but I still have privacy and security concerns when it comes to a LRS and specifically the data record. While you do not need an LRS to have xAPI, and xAPI is still a work in progress, it will get better over time.

In other words, it is going to be more than a wall stream. Finally, xAPI and LRS. If there is one “holy moly” feature, it will be xAPI with a nice dose of LRS. You do not need xAPI to have an LRS and secondly, both are a work in progress.
