“The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.”

I didn’t even realize this was a leap year until about a day or so ago. It may seem silly but doesn’t it feel like we’re getting an “extra” day for free? For out bonus day, we’re going to go check out a Maker Faire and team up in the kitchen to try out a new recipe. I hope you have something fun lined up for your bonus day this year! Thanks for reading!

What I’m Listening to: Today I’m stealing a page from my daughter who has been a huge Bille Eilish fan since waaay before she became popular. Try a sampling like this station on Pandora.

3 Ways to Engage Your Organization with SharePoint, Stream and Microsoft Teams

It seems that most sizable organizations have these Microsoft tools but are barely scratching the surface of what they can do. Especially in a learning context. What are you doing with these tools? Use these Powerful Questions to Learn More

Like Arun Pradhan, I’m a big fan of questions. Arun has collected a set of questions that are helpful for learning and suit a variety of circumstances and goals. I also share his belief in the value of staying curious and being a good listener. What questions of your own have you found valuable?

Use framework for performance solutions

Continuing the theme of questions and great Australian learning pros, Matt Guyan shares his ‘Use framework for performance solutions’ and it’s based on four simple questions. This is a great way to help you focus on “outcomes over outputs”. After all, as Matt says, what’s the point of making more ‘things’ if they don’t make a difference in terms of performance?

Last week’s article on Microsoft’s potential impact on the LXP market has got me interested in Project Cortex – how it works and what it can do. Cortex can also intelligently pull up relevant information when using Office 365 apps – it’s all about increasing workplace efficiency.

Cortex is currently in private preview and being tested by a number of organizations (you can apply here). It’s scheduled to be released for general use in the first half of 2020.
