There is a core set of frameworks that support the way organizational learning and development is conducted. The 70-20-10 model was first proposed in the 1980s by authors and researchers Morgan McCall, Robert Eichinger and Michael Lombardo. The research basis for the 70-20-10 equation is not particularly strong, however.
