Today I’m happy to report that our much anticipated update of Adobe Presenter with full support for ActionScript 3.0 (AS3) For example, using the Record button, you can quickly record high-quality audio and then sync the audio to your PowerPoint animations with fine precision.

Adobe Flash - An essential tool for creating highly interactive elements, including animation, games, immersive learning simulations, and almost anything else you want if you can manage writing or finding the actionscript. Being able to add quizzes and publish SCORM/AICC compliant courses is a big plus too.

Animations are treated similarly — while the support for basic animation does exist, developers will not be able to create complex animations (for example, syncing illustrated avatars to audio). Captivate 7 is a rapid development tool, so it’s never going to compare to something like ActionScript® when it comes to custom programming.
