One year ago, we kicked off a project with ADL to develop tools and resources to help accelerate the adoption of cmi5 , and ultimately xAPI, within both the DoD and across the industry as a whole. The goal for Project CATAPULT was to develop and deliver tools to help accelerate adoption of cmi5.

Source: ADL cmi5 Specification. There haven’t been tools and guidance for the specification to help drive adoption by vendors. Seeing this need, the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative contracted Rustici Software to build conformance tools. These are like the sample SCORM golf courses, except that they rock.
