While many eLearning vendors still support AICC, the standard is usually a legacy of older platforms and businesses. From the perspective of an LMS vendor, the original white paper was received as the definitive word from the xAPI crew and quickly became set in stone. That’s one exciting aspect of CC for LMS vendors.

There are a bunch of other standards by ADL (who is responsible for SCORM ), IMS , IEEE LTSC including CORDRAâ„¢ , LOM , Meta-data , etc. Note: ARIADNE, AICC, IEEE LTSC, and IMS all participate in ADL's work on SCORM). I've also seen it in an environment that had certain restrictions on JavaScript. in the eLearning world.
