How do you look at such data security concerns? Tin Can doesn’t change that, and the same privacy and security practices that apply to any other industry apply equally to us. The ADL vision is actually looking this far out in the future. Being part of the DoD, ADL is considering how to provide soldiers on the battlefield with the information they need at the precise moment of need, thus increasing their performance in the field and saving lives.

Aaron, can you tell me a little bit about your background and how you became involved with ADL? Two months after my layoff, a company called CTC recruited me to work for ADL. I worked with ADL from 2003-2006 and participated in the Technical Working Group afterwards. This work informed the conversations with several current and former ADL friends. Project Tin Can” was the name Rustici Software came up with to describe the work ADL contracted them to do.
