This is important because if an elearning course follows SCORM standards, it can be hosted by any LMS that also uses SCORM. If it’s not certified by ADL, which SCORM API elements are supported? ADL is the governing body for SCORM. For an LMS to be SCORM-certified, it needs to have passed ADL’s testing process.
