ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning). The primary purpose of the LTI standard, created by the IMS Global Learning Consortium, is to connect learning systems, such as an LMS, with external service tools. PNG (Portable Network Graphics). PNG is a file format that supports lossless data compression. Perhaps the most ubiquitous set of standards, SCORM was developed by Advanced Distributed Learning ( ADL ) and applied when developing LMS content.

Learning Tools Interoperability is a standard created by the IMS Global Learning Consortium. PNG was created as an improved, non-patented replacement for Graphics Interchange Format (GIF), and is the most widely used lossless image compression format on the Internet.
