Questions: What is the common identifier that allows the xAPI to connect the data provided by the ‘activity provider’ to a specific user in the LRS? Answer: xAPI allows for learners to be identified by email address, Open ID or an account on some system, such as an LMS. Activity Providers can request this information from the LRS if they need it (and if the LRS gives them permission). How do you best see xAPI interfacing with an LMS? Informal Learning.
