Adobe recently announced a upgrade to Adobe Captivate, its popular eLearning development tool.   According to Adobe's Allen Partridge, Captivate version 2017 , includes several new features including something called Fluid Boxes. The project will open in Captivate 2017 without fanfare.

Smart Shapes were introduced in Adobe Captivate several years ago. Similar to PowerPoint's Shapes feature, Smart Shapes in Captivate allow you to draw stars, ovals, banners, and more on a slide. To customize a Smart Shape, right-click a drawn shape and choose  Convert to freeform. by Kevin Siegel.

Adobe recently posted a fix for Captivate 9 that, according to Adobe, addresses the following issues in Adobe Captivate 9. Conditional actions get converted to standard actions in upgraded project. Result slide does not show up for a captivate project with more than 45 random question slides.

Fluid Boxes – Adobe is Listening! When Fluid Boxes were launched in Captivate 2017 Release, I was pleased with this approach to responsive design. Adobe has provided a simple button to distribute these object equally. I think my favourite improvement to fluid boxes in Captivate 2019 is the ability to align Static Fluid Boxes.
