Last week I told you about an awesome (and free) update to Adobe Captivate 2019. In that post, I told you how Adobe removed most of the outdated (Flash) SWF features. Specifically, Adobe has enhanced the Text-to-Speech feature. ReadSpeaker voices replace NeoSpeech.

  Next, I opened Storyline's Text-to-Speech window by going to the Insert tab on the Ribbon and, from the Media group, choosing Audio > Text-to-Speech. The voiceover script text that I had previously pasted into the Notes window was added to the Text-to-Speech window.

  Text-to-Speech (TTS) was one of the coolest new features in Adobe Captivate 4. In the new Captivate 5, TTS is still available but the interface for converting text to speech has changed (like everything else). Click the Text-to-Speech Button. Type some text.
