PowerPoint is presentation software. Yes, you can use it for many different things, and yes, Microsoft has an add-on that turns PPT into something similar to Adobe Presenter. Only a few support PENS, which is a shame, because it really does some very cool things. But, it does not pitch it as an authoring tool. .
