Unlike online learning platforms, online course platforms are cloud-hosted software that allows instructors to create online classes or individual lessons uploading education material that they have created using text, image, video, PDF files, and audio. Does not support SCORM, TinCan, or AICC. AICC, and Tin Can API.

SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a standardized model for content distribution and reuse that enables synchronized delivery of learning materials to computer-based training (CBT) systems. There are also other standards like xapi, also known as an experience api (tin can api), cmi5 and AICC for advanced capabilities.

It was as I often refer to as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This is another area that frustrated me, simply because the first two learning paths or I refer to as playlists are not necessarily tied to say the skill or skills that I selected at the beginning.
