One of these platforms is Percipio by Skillsoft. Percipio though can accept AICC, SCORM, xAPI and CMI-5 (win!). If you select “Video” content than the mini chapters you select from will start with an intro screen from Skillsoft, rather than jumping right into the content. Filtering was easy.

Who were the folks that oversaw the LMS I read and hear how it was designed for compliance, and thus compliance folks were the main users. Were there folks overseeing compliance, in charge of the LMS, sure. As you can see, there isn’t compliance as the dominator here, nor HR. All compliance focused.

There are three types of systems that slide under “learning platforms” The most common one supports PowerPoint, and videos and other content – and can track it, but they DO NOT support any version of SCORM, nor do they support AICC, PENS, Tin Can and so on.
