SCORM 2004, AICC what does it all mean? I’ll exclude the technical components or specifics on SCORM and AICC – plenty of info. SCORM and AICC. AICC was the only standard that offered a certification process for vendors and it was based on tasks/components testing. Honestly, AICC is so early 2000’s.

I talked to a vendor recently about geolocation and how long it would take or cost to add to a mobile app. along with the course you have uploaded into one nice package and view it within that player; or just have the course you uploaded – SCORM/AICC and xAPI, HTML5. How about some soda or ice tea or something besides WATER!

only, and all your stuff is in AICC. They also have publishers (3rd party) and those are an additional cost. Maybe Skillsoft didn’t want to invest more into SumTotal, it was a strange relationship – I mean dysfunctional would be kind. Ditto when you buy a system that is SCORM 1.2 You want, batch upload. I like that.

What I am finding is that AICC is nearly gone in the LEP space (as it is with LMSs too), so if I was you, I’d seek SCORM, SCORM 1.2, coorpacademy, Learn Amp, Percipio by Skillsoft, Looop, EdCast, MyQuest, Learning Tribes, Lumesse, Filtered, 360Learning, Springest Go, Toolwire. xAPI as my top three. I think folks will like it.
