Questions to Ask Ur Prospective LMS Vendor

What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. If you purchased an AICC only, then you have to find a system that is AICC compliant. It can be SCORM too, but the AICC is the key. . PENS was created by AICC as an alternative to SCORM 2004, 3rd edition. . Rather, “partner&# is a dual revenue steam for the vendor and their partner – a business relationship deal.

Some items stood out, others continued in an everlasting awful experience (customer and support service – as a whole). Expect a few commercial vendors to jump into the augmented reality space for e-learning.

Bewildered on what is happening, why what is needed isn’t appearing as it should, and how is it possible that something so obvious based on where e-learning is heading, mobile is pushing and future tech is inspiring is lost among so many vendors? Confusion leads to flushed in terms of causation that some vendors in their infinite wisdom have decided it is better to jump one way than stay the course. At least SCORM support – Plenty still support AICC.

Rankings are based on my directories which are updated monthly; I also keep a separate directory which will contain more vendors than listed within the visible directories – reason being it offers clients (those who hire me – buyers to have an added bonus, of course it contains much more info); that said the monthly directories provide key info and in future updates have new columns added.

How many of you have seen vendors respond to your questions? A: Virtually every LMS vendor out there in the marketplace provides these features. Congrats, you are probably looking at less than 10 (based on my LMS directory which contains 475 vendors). Custom domains – rather than have yourcompany.vendorname.com, some systems are now offering custom domains so that your learners see whatever name you create.com and remove the vendor name.

While it offers some customizations, in general it typically lists. Finding out the progress is a tad funky, because you can some customization involved – which while that may seem like a great idea – the customization does not enable a progress bar or some type of graphical interface.
