Flash vs. HTML5. I am seeing many vendors still offering the ability to output screen recording and video to flash. Less vendors are offering the HTML5 output, which seems to be strange, especially as more e-learning vendors as a whole are jumping right in. E-Learning 24/7.

This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . In all the years I have attended and have known about ATD (formally ASTD), this year is by far the most in terms of e-learning vendors, especially those in the LMS space.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. Also SCORM 1.2 & AICC. You get the Flash code – YES – you get the code, which you can do whatever you want with it. 264 codec, which the iPad supports, and a few browsers for HTML5. LMS, web, CD, etc.,

Add dropbox or something similar – I have seen this with a few vendors in the RCAT space, and it makes sense – Dropbox is hot – why not offer instantpaper capability too? HTML5 support – sorry Flash fans . There are quite a few vendors in this space, but IMO the best one is dominKnow’s Claro.

In order to achieve that, you have to buy all their packs and the HTML5 pack. Before you use the product, you must have Flash 8.0 Interaction views and selections include “Bloom Taxonomy, Gagne Nine Events, Kellers ARCS model, Experimental Learning. AICC, 508 and SWF. 2004, AICC. This is somewhat erroneous.
