Access means how do you create the content, build the course – either online or your desktop/company server, prior to output which can go to the “web&# , “LMS/LCMS&# , etc. SCORM or AICC. Some vendors may state “SCORM/AICC or AICC/SCORM&# – means the same thing. E-Learning 24/7.

If you are like the thousands of other people exploring the purchase of a learning management system, the key to success is asking the right questions. . What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. What SCORM compliance are you?

I need a LMS. Q: I’m looking for a LMS that has classroom mgt, can have abc learners see only one course or a set of courses, while another group sees a different set of courses and I need to batch upload my learners. A: Virtually every LMS vendor out there in the marketplace provides these features.

Greater increase in the number of learning management systems offering quiz/assessment tools. This is not to say that every LMS can do this, nor does it say that what the end user sees is uber-robust, but on the back end the analytical data for many systems can be significant. Podcast Mania.

SCORM compliance and/or AICC – there are tools out there who support neither – but that is not the norm and there are a few tools out there who also support PENS. Multiple learning paths or branching. and SCORM support and learning objects. Assessment tool of some nature – may include survey tool.

Easy to use interface and supports SCORM and AICC. #18 No reason, I just love saying that) Mzinga shows up with a true social learning authoring tool. A few vendors say “social learning” but it is often far from it. Task management. AICC, SCORM and PENS support. Supports AICC and SCORM.

You can use either your own 3rd party content authoring tool and upload it into the “Cloud&# and then wherever you are, output either to your LMS, or onto Moodle or even WordPress (they have a plug in for that) OR place the course in Facebook or nearly any solution that accepts APIs. LMS, web, CD, etc., ADL SCORM 2004 CERTIFIED.
