Sure, you can use the extensive list of tools on the market, but for those who want real power and complexity ala from the days of Authorware, pickings are slim.

In 2010, the RCAT market continued its upswing and nothing indicates to me it will be changing anytime soon. The Big Dogs – which in this case, deals more with market share, for the most part continued to push forward, yet from an innovation standpoint, uh, solid, but not outstanding. Also SCORM 1.2 & AICC.

Continues to be a growth market. The Big Dog vendors jumped in two years ago, with some components and have now vastly expanded. Smaller size vendors are now entering the foray. Talent Management only systems that have existed in the market for years. A huge key is digital marketing. Talent Management. M-Commerce.

I love Questionmark, its a wonderful product and it can use a “connector” to integrate into your learning platform or system. However, times are continuing to change in regards to the overall standalone quiz/assessment tools market. The standalone market for these seems to no longer make sense. Bottom Line.
