We did Online Learning in the 60’s – False Narrative There were systems back in the day, where they could be run on your own server, used via a CD-ROM, via WAN or LAN, but to me, that isn’t and e-learning LMS. I used it in 1999, to teach a 100% online journalism course in the University of Nebraska system.

SCORM 2004, AICC what does it all mean? I’ll exclude the technical components or specifics on SCORM and AICC – plenty of info. SCORM and AICC. AICC was the only standard that offered a certification process for vendors and it was based on tasks/components testing. Honestly, AICC is so early 2000’s.

In all my years of buying LMSs and purchasing 3rd party course(s), I always had the 3rd party provider load the courses into my system. Biz Library courses are available only as AICC. SCORM and AICC. Personally, I think AICC should be punted over the goal post of so long compliance standards. And guess what?
