Both SCORM and xAPI are content standards used to create eLearning courses. Tin Can, otherwise known as xAPI, was developed in 2013 (over a decade after SCORM was released). AICC stands for Aviation Industry CBT Committee, an international non-profit association of technology professionals. If you are using tools such as webinars or virtual classrooms, you will need to ensure that the LMS supports delivery of these. When creating eLearning content using content authoring tools, it is best to ensure you make sure that the LMS supports both SCORM and AICC standards for eLearning content, at a minimum.
