For whatever reason- okay to try to set themselves apart – some vendors have created the term “training management” Honestly, they could call it “online authoring system with a few reports and no frills” and it would be the same thing. The downside to training management products is the inability to upload any other 3rd party authoring tool or courses from an off the shelf vendor. Why do some vendors have trials and others do not?
