The question this month is: Are ISD / ADDIE / HPT relevant in a world of rapid elearning, faster time-to-performance, and informal learning? Are we – as in the collective we of the eLearning ‘industry’ – making a conscious shift away from Instructional Designer since no one on the outside knows what that means? What do you think?? Since "I'm an instructional designer" is almost always met with blank stares, I just fall back on elaborating with "eLearning developer."
