Orientations, classes, and meetings are often held in Second Life. Privacy / Confidentiality - Limit the visibility. So, yes, you have to set up policies and alert people just like you do around any form of electronic communication (email, IM). No problems getting things here. SaaS, but this shouldn't hold you back.
