The war between Adobe and Apple just got hotter. Apple has revised the Developer Program License Agreement to ban the use of cross compiler tools like Unity3d, Appcelerator’s Titanium, Adobe’s Flash CS5 etc. The same Flash file published as SWF or AIR app would work with other mobile devices supporting Flash Player 10.1

I'd encourage you to keep eLearning within a Help Topic much shorter than standard eLearning lessons; 30-90 seconds is the perfect amount of time to get a quick point across. If the learner is going to use a standard Windows PC or Macintosh computer, SWF output is fine. eLearning Integration within RoboHelp.

a standard delivery platform? My first thought about Swiffy was that it would solve a LOT of the problems I hear with SWF content not playing on Apple devices like the iPad. I tried Swiffy on some of my Captivate-published SWFs and I'm sorry to report that none of them converted using the Swiffy beta. Do you have.

A few years ago, when rapid eLearning development tools were in their infancy, the job of eLearning designers was fairly straightforward , and had very little to do with web standards. This would then be uploaded to and delivered by an LMS and it was out of their hands. Not any more.
