Thirty years ago when I was doing technical support for library automation systems, we used approaches that would now be called “micro learning” or “performance support.” My work included writing articles for a monthly printed newsletter that helped system users practice using more advanced techniques, now known as “spaced learning.”

Thirty years ago when I was doing technical support for library automation systems, we used approaches that would now be called “micro learning” or “performance support.” We, like others, believe the reason for this to be the present education system design that was perfected for the needs of ‘industrialization’.
