Considering how fast it converts the images to speaking avatars, I’m pretty impressed with the overall quality. Convert Static Images on the Slide: You can also add the image to the slide. Articulate Storyline has decent Accessibility features as well, though some are quirky and it lacks (of this writing) an included Closed-Captioning feature. In the earlier days of 508 requirements, conventional wisdom was to avoid Flash. While a custom CC function can be created using creative layers and triggers, it is far from ideal.

Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash. SaaS – while desktop still rules, SaaS is slowly gaining converts. I believe once Articulate and some of the other big names truly launch products (such as Storyline), the market will wait. It isn’t. Please make it stop.
