I have a real issue with vendors who charge extra – via a license with their “partner&# or otherwise for a web conferencing – and thus ability to offer webinars, in their solution. Metacoon – Metacoon 2.0 - 80% of their solution is free, and what rocks about that is that these are some awesome modules. The alumni and career mgt modules might be fee based, hard to tell, but the rest is free. Oh, they offer SaaS for a fee, but you can host it on your own servers for free. Blackboard. How amazing?
