Arguably, the most common way to publish a Camtasia project is as a Flash SWF. This is an excellent solution because SWF files can be used by the vast majority of the world's personal computers, browsers and operating systems. According to Adobe, the Flash Player is installed on most of the world's computers.

During the Produce and Share process, you can output SWFs, MP4 videos, and HTML5-compliant output (allowing the content to be usable on mobile devices such as the Apple iPad). Today we’re excited to share impressions on another new authoring tool: Allen Interactions’ ZebraZapps, which launches at ASTD ICE in about a week. In fact, in terms of power, its capabilities are more in a league with Flash than with the majority of most rapid development tools. As of this writing, Zebra only outputs to SWF.
