Company News: Happy 2014!

Happy New Year! There are a lot of things happening at Artisan E-Learning that we wanted you to know about.

We Just Had a Birthday

Artisan E-Learning just turned 10 years old!  Time flies when you’re having fun.  It has been a rewarding decade. There have been so many changes to the e-learning industry and with us.  We have had a great 10 years with all of you, and we look forward to many more to come.

We Are Growing

We are so very excited to welcome two new team members, Tanya Seidel (our new VP of Strategic Development) and Tim Slade (our new Authoring Tools Trainer).  Here is some information that will help you get to know a bit more about them.

Tanya Seidel

Tanya comes to us after spending 8 years working for Trivantis, the makers of Lectora. She has been involved in not only creating instructor-led and Web-based training programs and materials, but also in leading the design and development of Trivantis’ e-learning authoring software and learning management systems. Her focus has always been on the client and end-user, with emphasis on usability and intuitiveness, ensuring that products and courses under her direction are not only aesthetically gorgeous, but also intuitive, easy-to-use, and functioning as desired. Tanya is also well versed in mLearning, Section 508, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Tanya loves being both a teacher and a learner. She enjoys helping others in finding the right solutions for their eLearning development and deployment, but also enjoys learning new tools, new systems, and new skills herself, and is currently enrolled in an innovation and entrepreneurship program at the Stanford Center for Professional Development.

Tim Slade

Tim comes to us after spending the past 5 years honing his e-learning design skills both in the private and public sectors. Starting his e-learning career at Kohl’s Department Stores, Tim worked in several business areas where he used e-learning, video and print media to enhance training and communications content or audiences 140,000+.

Tim prides himself on helping others to elevate their skills to the next level. He has done this by maintaining a popular blog of his own and online presence geared towards new e-learning designers.
