ASTD conducted a free webinar on that research report this week. Interestingly John mentions that a lot of these programs are NOT integrated with any LMS.

Identified as one of the barriers to adoption of mobile learning in a recent ASTD research , this is probably the most valid myth on this list. SCORM compliance is a must. You can achieve tracking without having SCORM compliance, so determine if you really need SCORM tracking. It’s not secure.
