Incidentally, I came across this tweet earlier this week @tonyramos – “For me tweeting is a note-taking activity: it diminishes my attention but helps my retention”. I either review them immediately or mark them as favorites for future reading and that seems to be working well for my PLE. Well filtered and value added.

In fact, the lack of attention to this topic was the reason I founded Work Literacy in June of 2008. I still don't think it is getting nearly the attention it deserves.

First off, I have to say that this entire PLE conversation hasnt really sparked much for me. Maybe it was even "personal learning" before the term PLE came along. I dont see a traditional corporation every truly embracing the theme of PLE -- at least in the pure sense of the term "personal". It just seems like a no-duh.
