Keep in mind your students’ cognitive load, the difficulty of the learning content, and the video’s learning goals. But to truly leverage the advantages of this type of learning, your videos should be easily digestible. Depending on the subject, that may be two minutes or 20 minutes. Most importantly, don’t try to do too much.
